Kentucky Wildcats Freshman Could Go All The Way

The Kentucky Wildcats Can Go All The Way

Every year the final four has a Cinderella story and this year the Kentucky Wildcats can go all the way and be one of the first Cinderella stories to bring home a final four title. John Calipari has done the unthinkable, he has managed to make it all the way to the final four championship game with a starting 5 lineup of all freshman.

While other teams like Wisconsin whom they beat on Saturday decided to entrust their teams tournament future in the hands of their experienced seniors Calipari chose differently. It's crazy but to the surprise of basketball critics across the nation his strategy is not only working but it has created one of the most popular social media teams in the nation right now. With twins Andrew and Aaron Harrison playing their best basketball right now, accompanied by equal play from James Young and Marcus Lee they play fast and so high above the rim they almost touch the back board. These young Kentucky Wildcats are balling right now!

Kentucky Plays With Passion and Heart

Despite their age these Kentucky Wildcats play with passion and heart and in their game vs Wisconsin Saturday April 5, 2014 they did not give up when they were down on the score board. John Calipari was focused and encouraging them throughout the whole game and never gave his young team the opportunity to hang their heads or get discouraged.

The most memorable play of the night though had to be the in your face 3 pointer shot by Aaron Harrison with 5.7 seconds left on the clock to close the game. When I say these freshman are fearless I mean they are fearless! That shot in my opinion literally took the air and fight out of Wisconsin. The Kentucky Wildcat fans went crazy and that was all she wrote folks.

Kentucky To Face Uconn in Championship game

Despite their heart they are going to face an experienced and overly talented Uconn team Monday night April 7, 2014. With guards like Shabazz Napier and Ryan Boatright the wildcats will definitely have their hands full. Kevin Ollie has his team playing at the highest level possible right now and they have literally silenced the doubters. Uconn has defeated Florida, Virginia, St. Joseph, Villanova, and Iowa State and I mean boy have they shown off and shut teams down with their stifling defense.

Uconn's in the paint presence is literally suffocating on the defensive end and they completely stopped Florida's Patrick Young from having his way in the paint Saturday. Between their blocks and defensive rebounds Uconn is working the glass twice as hard as their opponents.

This is going to be a great match up guys Arlington Texas is going to be on fire tomorrow night and I definitely will be tuned in. At the end of the day it will be a battle of the coach's John Calipari vs Kevin Ollie may the best coaching strategy win.
